Here we are, January 1, 2018!
Happy New Year!
Do you get inner guidance that seems “snappy” and “mean”? Read on!
I have made a personal commitment to myself to complete the Circle of Atonement version of A Course in Miracles in 2018. I started this morning and I love Cameo #1 in which Helen gets a good correction for wanting to keep her psychic gifts to herself!
I got a copy of this CE Course in Miracles back in January 2017 when it first came out (you can listen to my Unity radio interview with Robert Perry here, I describe my resistance to looking at this version of ACIM and how my husband Bill Free kept trying to get me to at least “look at it” and I refused) and how once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down.
It has a very personal feeling to it, like Jesus is right here with me, right by my side, talking directly to me.
I started today – this morning – with the Introduction to the Workbook and Workbook Lesson #1: Nothing I see means anything.
Here is my 2018 Schedule for Completing A Course in Miracles:
One workbook lesson per day
One Cameo Essay per week – 30 essays. I will complete the Cameos in 30 weeks.
One Text Chapter per week – 31 chapters. I will complete the Text in 31 weeks.
Once I have completed the Text and the Cameo, I will move on to the Manual for Teachers and the Clarification of Terms in the final 21 weeks of the year.
And BOOM – it’s done.
I love the updated Introduction in the CE version which talks about keeping your eyes open in many of the earlier exercises since the aim of the exercises (in the workbook lessons) is “to learn how to see.”
I’m so grateful that A Course in Miracles has been updated and all the missing information has been put back into the book!
If you would like to join me and receive messages from me this year, you can join ACIM 365: my one year audio program to complete the workbook lessons in one year. It’s $247 for the whole year or $25/per month. You get a 10-minute audio from me for every single lesson. I will be posting in the private ACIM Facebook group and sending out emails during the year with updates, for everyone who is a member of ACIM 365. I look forward to seeing you there!
I read Cameo #1 this morning, all snuggled up in bed with a coffee. It’s soooo good. Oh my gosh. It’s amazing to me that we have access to these notes. Bill Thetford asks Helen to ask Jesus how to hear guidance from Jesus the way that Helen hears it.
Helen gets “a snappy” message from Jesus – “Tell Bill to get his own list” and then receives a message from Jesus “STOP” and “Be Careful” and then gets a full message that any guidance that is “snappy” or “mean” is not from Jesus. HA! That is so right now.
In this Cameo, it describes Helen’s turning point in her mind in which she needed to make a decision to only use her abilities for God and to help others and not for her own personal gain.
It is in this Cameo that Jesus talks about the “world’s worsening condition” and the necessity for a speed-up because “so many people persistently lost more than they gained.”
“There are always risks in speed-ups. The whole thing was undertaken because things were getting behind schedule because so many people persistently lost more than they gained.”
In Cameo #1, Helen gives her interpretation of what happened when Jesus gave her this “mental explanation”:
“According to this information, the world situation was worsening to an alarming degree. People all over the world were being called on to help and were making their individual contributions as part of an overall, pre-arranged plan. I had apparently agreed to take down A Course in Miracles as it would be given me. I would be using abilities I had developed very long ago, and which I was now ready to use again. Because of the acute emergency, however, the usual slow, evolutionary process was being by-passed in what might be described as a “celestial speed-up.” I could sense the urgency that lay behind this “explanation,” whatever I might think about its content. The feeling was conveyed to me that time was running out.” -Helen Schucman
In this Cameo is a whole description on hearing guidance and how Helen’s urge to keep the gift to herself (her psychic abilities) is warping her hearing, turning Jesus’ voice into “snappy” and “mean” – which would definitely not be Jesus’ voice.
I love that.
If you hear snappy or mean guidance, it’s the ego’s voice and not Jesus.
It’s all in the book, which is available to you.
I have both the hardcover version (still $39.95 on Amazon!) AND the Kindle version ($9.99) for when I travel (because it’s super heavy!)
If you absolutely have no money right now to buy this awesome new life-changing version of A Course in Miracles, you can sign up for Bill Free’s audio program – it’s free – for a reading of the CE Workbook Lessons and a reading of the Cameo’s. Cameo #1 is up now – and he will be posting 3 Cameo’s a month.
Please keep in mind if you have been saying and thinking “I have no money” that when you set an intention and priority for something, the universe responds! So when you KNOW you are going to buy a copy of this version, watch how quickly the money comes to you – or where you can see that you are spending in places that aren’t really a priority. And then you will have the book in your hand, and you will be amazed how fast it all happened!
One minute you’re saying: I’ll never be able to afford that book.
And the next minute: it’s your hands.
Today is a great day to get started on the best gift you can give yourself in 2018.
All my love to you,
