NEW SHOW: My notes from Rupert Spira Retreat

Jul 14, 2017

I recently went on a 7-Day Retreat with non-dual teacher, Rupert Spira and today I shared some of my notes on my weekly Unity Online Radio Show.

The retreat was 7-nights at the Garrison Institute in Garrison, New York (about one hour north of NYC). I loved it. It was amazing and I highly recommend it. The next 7-Day Retreat is October 8-15, 2017. (I heard the single rooms are already sold-out, so if you are interested in attending, make sure to book soon – it will sell out!)

It was seven days of daily two-hours of guided meditation by Rupert Spira (10:30am-12:30pm) and then two-hours of Q & A in the afternoon with Rupert (4:30pm-6:30pm) so it truly was A RETREAT, which was exactly the perfect thing for me. I’m not a meditator and typically have great difficulty staying present and quiet in meditation, but I could have sat there for even longer. It was awesome. In this one-hour show I share what Rupert says about mantra meditation or focusing on the breath and how this is the indirect path (it will get you there eventually) but it’s still externally focused on an object (a word or breath) and so you are not focusing on Source. His guided meditations are a direct path, to direct experience.

I took extensive notes in the afternoon. I filled almost an entire notebook and decided to share some of them on Unity Online Radio on my weekly show: Living in Joy: Reflections on A Course in Miracles

If you have done A Course in Miracles, done the workbook lessons, read all 31 chapters and you are STILL in judgment, conflict suffering, still experiencing guilt or doubt, this show is for you! In this one-hour Lisa Natoli reads from her handwritten notes taken from the 7-Day Rupert Spira Retreat that she attended at the Garrison Institute in New York in July 2017. Rupert Spira, author of several books including his latest book “The Nature of Consciousness: Essays on the Unity of Mind and Matter” is a brilliant teacher of non-duality that teaches what he calls “the direct path” to knowing your Self, your Essential Self, your True Nature. In this show, find out why even after you have the realization of your True Identity, why you still see/experience residual from your old thought system.
