Suffering & anger only happen to the person

Suffering, irritation, anger, worry is never caused by events, situations or by other people. Suffering is always a result of the mind that believes it is a person.
 
Two people can experience the same exact situation and one suffers in anger, irritation and blames & lashes out ... and the other remains in peace and joy, in the flow of life.
 
For example, two people with pain and physical symptoms - one person suffers and is miserable and complaining. The other finds it to be a gift because it has brought understanding, peace and joy.
 
Two people lose their job. One person is outraged, afraid, angry. The other person sees it as a new beginning.
 
If it was the event that caused suffering and anger, then both people would suffer and be angry.
 
Anger is always a result of listening to the mind's narratives and believing the narrative, and therefore forgetting what you are as pure Consciousness.
 
When you believe you are a body, a person, a mind, with a past and a future it is tempting to believe that "outside events" are the reason for your pain, fear and upset.
 
Blaming others is the easy route, but it doesn't lead to peace.
 
Blaming doesn't lead one to peace and joy.
 
The real source of suffering isn't what happens in the world or with the body. Suffering only happens to a person - and you're not a person.
 
The person is an idea, an image made up by you over the years. I am this. I am that. I do this. I do that. People do this. People do that.
 
Peace is reached when all the mind activity is seen, which happens in quiet.
 
The person wants to control situations, analyze what is heard and seen. The person wants to blame. The person, which is not you, wants an explanation, wants an apology, wants someone to take responsibility.
 
The person is outraged. The person is sometimes weak, sometimes strong.
 
You are not the person.
You are not the image that quivers in fear, that feels irritated.
You are pure Awareness.
 
When you think you are a person, you have no power.
 
All the power and light is still here, available to you, but in the moment you believe you are a person, separate from others, all that power and light is shut off to you.
 
The result is blame, anger, lashing out, demanding things to be a certain way, wanting things to be different than they are.
 
Inner peace is not determined by the world, other people, situations or events.
 
 
Inner peace and joy is here when you see all the mind activity.
 
It's the best day ever when you see that everything you have been thinking and believing is a just thought. 💕
 
It's just a thought. 💕
 
You read something and have a reaction to it?
It's just a thought.
Going on in Awareness.
 
You feel irritated. Worried. Confused. Agitated. Pain.
 
Investigate.
What is irritation? What is worry? What is confusion? What is agitation? What is pain?
 
Rest in quiet and inquire.
 
It's just a thought. 💕
 
We never really been taught this in the world. We have been taught to react, to control, to analyze, to blame, to solve, to fix, to change.
That's the way of the world.
 
Real peace, lasting peace, comes when you are still an instant, one instant free from attack, free from blaming, free from analyzing, free from being a victim.
 
And all the thoughts that were held in mind (worry, anger, confusion) are undone, disappear and dissolve in the light of Awareness.
 
Suffering disappears.
