My heart to yours. Keep reading because there is a practice in here for whenever you are in mental conflict and what you can do about it. 

 Take notes. Take your time. Enjoy. 

 

We have been trained/taught to believe we are a solid body that is separate from other people and other things. We are taught that we "feel" and "think" - and this becomes our experience in the world, in the body. 

When I was dealing with physical symptoms and chronic pain, I tried everything to heal. I tried medicine, antibiotics, steriods, supplements, vitamins, diets. I tried positive affirmations. I tried truth affirmations like "I'm not a body" and "Sickness isn't real" and "Sickness is an illusion." 

None of these things worked for me and I AM GRATEFUL NONE OF THEM WORKED FOR ME because it set me on a journey of discovery that I may not have taken otherwise. 

Having tried absolutely everything and spending a ton of money (on a credit card!) on different approaches, I was at a place where there was nothing left to do. It was like being in a science lab and spending 5 years experimenting on every possible thing and no results. 

I just had spent 5 or 6 years being as committed and devoted as one could be to following "a perfect diet" and following everyone's advice on anything that might work for relief and healing. And nothing was working. 

In A Course in Miracles, it says perhaps you want to try every road until you see the futility of them all - that they all lead nowhere. 

That was me! 

In 2018, I was introduced to the idea of "welcoming" - to welcome the thoughts and feelings I was having - and I had an experience of relief, freedom, happiness and peace. 

It was very fleeting at first but this was the beginning of something brand new for me. 

My whole life I thought I was having the thoughts I was having. 

It seems so normal! 

Of course these are "my" thoughts. 

I'm thinking them! 

I didn't know anything else back then. 

I truly believed my feelings were my feelings. 

I "felt" sick. I felt discouraged. 
I feel afraid.
I feel sick. 
I feel pain. 
I feel like a failure. 
I feel like I'll never heal. 
I feel weak and frail and hopeless. 
I feel powerless. 

I didn't know back then that I am pure Consciousness and that thoughts and feelings arise and disappear in this pure eternal openness I AM that is timeless and has no name, no body, no gender. 

I think. 
I feel. 

Who or what thinks and feels? Who is this "I"? 

The journey started there, with the idea of welcoming, investigation and discovery. 

HERE IS A PRACTICE FOR WHENEVER YOU NOTICE MENTAL CONFLICT: 

Welcome the thought or feeling and be aware of the thought or feeling IN SPACE. 

See the thought in space, in openness. 

Allow the thought to arise, in total freedom. 

A feeling or thought is appearing in open space which is beingness, with no beginning and no end. 

 We are not the thoughts. We are not the feelings. 


And we are not the "I" that thinks it thinks and feels that it feels. 

We are the space and spaciousness in which a thought, feeling, story, sensation, pattern, habit appears ... and disappears when you don't hold onto the thought or feeling. 

These past 7 years since 2018 have been the best years of my life. Why? 

Because I know what I am. 

Thoughts and feelings no longer have any power. They are no longer charged. They no longer control me. 

Thoughts and feelings still arise, but they no longer trip me up. 

I no longer identify with them as "me" or "mine" - and these thoughts and feeling don't stick around for long.  

They arise. I remain as the space in which a thought or feelings arises. And it disappears. 

THE ENTIRE FORMULA FOR HEALING! 

I know that peace and joy is available at all times, right now. 

All it requires is to rest as the open Spaciousness in which every thought you think you have appears. 

Be the space in which a thought or feeling is appearing in your experience. 

Every time you notice yourself thinking "I feel _______." I encourage you to train yourself TO STOP ON THE SPOT the instant you catch yourself thinking "I feel ______."

A feeling. What is it? Have you ever investigated a feeling? Can you welcome it? 

Can you be aware of the space and spaciousness in which the feeling is appearing? 

If you notice feelings of lack, feelings of fear, feelings of being limited. 

Welcome the feelings without trying to do anything about them. 

This kind of a practice is the beginning of knowing your true nature - and experiencing it! - as the space in which a thought or feeling appears and disappears. 

When you rest as the space, you are resting in your true nature which is light, peace, beingness, love. 

When you love a feeling, it dissolves and disappears in this light. 

When you are at peace with whatever is appearing in your experience, the peace (which is the light of God) dissolves whatever conflict was there, which seemed very real while you were identified with it. 

Simply allow everything to be exactly as it is. 

Can you do that? 

Can you welcome any discomfort that is arising or appearing? 

Can you embrace it? 

Can you be at peace with it? 

Simply allow any thought or feeling to be here, while simultaneously focusing on the space and spaciousness in which the feeling or thought appears in. 

See how this goes. 

This is all I've been doing for the last several years and it's changed my life, in the best way possible. Being the awareness of that which arises in I AM.

To be at peace at all times, no matter what is going on because you know that whatever thoughts you have about something are dissolved in the open spaciousness where you are no longer resisting anything at all. 

This openness is your true nature, this Stillness, this Silence, this love. 

Here for you to know for yourself. 
Not later. 
Not in the future.
But now. 

When you rest in stillness, aware of a thought in stillness, a thought floating in this Openness ... see how that goes. 

 See that peace is felt, experienced, sensed.

 The light is always here. Peace is always here, beyond the thinking mind. 

See if you feel a little bit of relief, joy, happiness with short moments when you don't have to figure anything out, when you don't have to think about anything, when you don't have to solve anything ... when you don't have to heal anything. 

Just rest in this light. It's Easter! What a gift to yourself to rest in this light and experience your own resurrection as this light comes forth into consciousness awareness. 

And in this light, sickness disappears. Conflict disappears. 

 In this light, this open spaciousness, can you see how the personal self wants to maintain control and doesn't want to lose control? 

Welcome that. 

Welcome that you are afraid. 

Welcome that thought that you control your experience so that things don't change too quickly. 

Welcome whatever arises. 

Welcome that you feel a sense of lack. 

Welcome that you feel stuck or irritated or angry. 

And remember: STAY INTERESTED IN THE SPACE & SPACIOUSNESS IN WHICH THE FEELING OR THOUGHT ARISES. 🌷

And see what happens.
